The process
Three steps, and none of them involve a card
This site has no basket and no checkout, because the business behind it does not run one. You tell us what the job needs, we quote it, the courier collects the money.
Send the list
Write down what the project needs and the address it has to reach. There is no account to register and no payment detail to hand over at any point.
We price it
Someone comes back to you, normally inside one working day, to confirm stock and read out the exact figure the driver will be collecting.
Pay the driver
The parcel travels with a tracking reference. Inspect it on the step, and if it matches what was agreed, settle up in cash there and then.
Stock list
What is on the rack
A short list, held properly. We would rather keep six things on the shelf than advertise sixty we would have to order in.
Cordless Angle Grinder 115mm
115mm disc at 7000 rpm, two 20V batteries in the case. Cuts slabs and kerbs with no cable to run out to.
Electric Paint Sprayer 700W
700W HVLP with a 1200ml tank. Puts an even coat on a fence or a deck in a fraction of the time a brush takes.
Cordless Pressure Washer 48V
400W motor, no tap and no hose reel. Lifts green film off paving and rinses the tools down where they stand.
GrillMate Smokeless Grill
Smokeless plate grill for the terrace table, or indoors when the weather turns. No charcoal and no smoke to carry.
AirLounge Duo Chair 2-in-1
Inflatable lounge chair with a matching footrest. Packs down small enough to live in the shed all winter.
Portable Welding Machine 300A
300A ARC inverter, light enough to carry to the job. For gates, railings and brackets you would otherwise farm out.
Projects
Jobs worth doing once
Write-ups of the work we get asked about most, with the mistakes left in.
Bringing a grey deck back without wrecking the boards
Silvering is surface deep. Most decks that get replaced only ever needed sanding.

Laying slabs that are still level in three years
Almost every sunken patio comes down to the same two shortcuts in the base.

Outdoor lighting that survives its first winter
Water gets into fittings from below, which is the opposite of where people seal them.

Cash to the driver, and nothing else
PrimePatio DIY accepts one method of payment. There is no second route, and nothing on this website will ever ask you for a card number.
Handed over at the door
In cash, in your own currency, at the moment the parcel changes hands. The figure is the one read out on the confirmation call, with nothing added on the step.
Checked before it is paid for
Open the box while the driver waits. Wrong item, crushed corner, or simply second thoughts on the doorstep, and it goes straight back with nothing owed.
We hold no card terminal, no payment gateway and no facility for bank transfers, so cards, PayPal and transfers cannot be taken. Nobody from PrimePatio DIY will ever ring asking for card details or a deposit in advance. Treat any such call as fraudulent and report it to us at support@primepatio-diy.com.
