About us

The merchant behind the terrace kit

PrimePatio DIY is the trading name of FLOFUM, S.L., a company registered in Barcelona. We supply equipment for the hard end of outdoor living: paved terraces, timber decks, and the warmth and light that keep them in use once the evenings turn.

Two things about the way we trade are worth saying before anything else. The range is short, and there is one way to pay, which is cash handed to the driver at your own front door. The rest of this page explains both.

An angle grinder, a paint sprayer and a pressure washer set out in a merchant's yard

The range

Patios, terraces and the ground outside the back door

Six lines, all for the same part of the house. If the job happens on paving, decking or gravel, it is probably ours. On a lawn or in a kitchen, it is not.

What we carry

A cordless angle grinder for cutting slabs and kerbs to a line. An HVLP paint sprayer, because a fence takes an afternoon with one and most of a weekend with a brush. A cordless pressure washer that needs neither a tap nor a hose reel. A smokeless grill for the terrace table, an inflatable lounge chair with a footrest, and a portable arc welder for the gate that never quite closed properly.

What we leave alone

We do not sell gardening tools. No spades, no secateurs, no mowers, no hose fittings. We do not sell kitchenware. We do not sell power tools built for indoor work. Those trades are covered properly by other people, and if you write in asking for one of them we will say so plainly rather than order something in blind.

Why so few products

A long catalogue is usually somebody else’s stock

Hundreds of listings look like choice. More often they are goods the seller has never handled, ordered from a supplier only once the customer’s money has cleared. That arrangement falls apart under cash on delivery. If a driver turns up with the wrong item, the customer refuses it on the step and the trip is wasted at our expense.

So the range stays narrow enough to know properly. Ask how long the grinder batteries last cutting slabs, what the sprayer does to a fence panel at 700 watts, or whether the welder will run off a domestic socket, and the answer comes from someone who has unpacked one. Adding a product is straightforward. Guessing is not, so we do not.

Paying

Cash on delivery, with no second option

This website carries no basket and no checkout page, because the business behind it does not run one. We hold no card terminal, no payment gateway and no facility for receiving bank transfers. Cards, PayPal and transfers are impossible here rather than merely discouraged.

The courier collects the money in cash when the parcel is handed over at your address. Placing an order therefore costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. If the goods never arrive, you are not out of pocket. If the box looks wrong on the doorstep, refuse it and pay nothing at all. The amount the driver asks for is the amount agreed on the phone, delivery included, with nothing added at the door.

Nobody from this company will ever ask you for a card number, a bank transfer or a deposit ahead of delivery. A caller who does is not from PrimePatio DIY. Report it to support@primepatio-diy.com.

Before dispatch

The confirmation call

Every order is confirmed by telephone before a box is packed, normally within one working day of the request reaching us. The call comes from a Spanish number.

On that call we confirm the item and the quantity, read out the total the driver will be collecting, and check the street address along with a rough time window for the delivery. Nothing leaves until you have agreed to that figure out loud. It is short, and it is not a sales call. No payment detail is asked for on it, because there is nowhere in this business for a card number to go.

If we cannot reach you after two attempts we email instead and wait for a reply. An order that has not been confirmed is never sent, so nothing turns up unannounced with a bill attached. Questions about a country, a window or a price are best raised at this stage, and the FAQ covers most of them.

Being straight about it

Things we do not do

Every shop is defined partly by what it cannot offer. Ours is written down here, so nobody plans a weekend around a service that does not exist.

  • No showroom The Barcelona address is a registered office, not a trade counter. There is nothing there to walk round and nothing to collect in person.
  • No card payment Not at the door, not over the phone, and not through a link sent afterwards. Cash to the driver is the only route, in every country we serve.
  • No next-day promise Road freight across the EU varies by country and by week. You get a realistic window on the call, and a message if it slips. The detail sits in our delivery terms.
  • No pressure No countdown clocks, no account to open, no mailing list you did not ask to join. Ask a question, get an answer, decide in your own time.
